General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Laveos: the company offering products via www.laveos.com.
Customer: any natural or legal person placing an order with Laveos.
Agreement: any arrangement between Laveos and the customer regarding the sale and delivery of products.
Right of withdrawal: the legal right of the customer to cancel the purchase within the cooling-off period.
Cooling-off period: the period during which the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal.

Article 3 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Laveos and to every agreement concluded between Laveos and the customer.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

Article 4 – Offer and information

Laveos offers care products for horses and dogs through an online platform.

We do our best to display all products and information as accurately as possible. Obvious errors or mistakes are not binding.

Our products are care products and not medical products. If you are unsure about the use of a product for your animal, we recommend consulting a veterinarian.

Article 5 – Formation of the agreement

The agreement is concluded at the moment the customer places an order and Laveos confirms the order by email.

Article 6 – Prices and payment

All prices are displayed as shown at the time of ordering. The price shown at checkout is binding.

Depending on the country of destination, prices may be shown including or excluding VAT in accordance with applicable tax regulations and webshop settings.

For orders outside the European Union, local taxes, import duties, or other charges may be applied by the destination country. These costs are not included in the product price and are always the responsibility of the customer.

Laveos reserves the right to change prices at any time. This does not affect already placed orders.

Article 7 – Shipping and delivery

We aim to ship orders within 2 working days.

Delivery times are indicative. Within the Netherlands, delivery usually takes 1–2 working days. International deliveries may take a few days up to approximately 1–2 weeks.

The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer at the moment the order is shipped.

Article 8 – International shipping and customs

Laveos ships worldwide.

For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, VAT, or other local charges may be applied by the destination country. These costs are always the responsibility of the customer.

Laveos is not responsible for delays caused by customs or carriers.

Article 9 – Right of withdrawal (EU)

The customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason.

After notifying withdrawal, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the product.

Article 10 – Returns

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Products must be unused and in original condition

  • Products should, where reasonably possible, be returned in their original packaging

If a product is used, damaged, or no longer in a resellable condition, the return may be refused or partially refunded.

Article 11 – Refunds

After receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will refund the purchase amount within 10 working days via the original payment method.

Article 12 – Warranty and conformity

All products are covered by the legal warranty. This means the product must meet what the customer can reasonably expect.

If a product is defective or does not meet reasonable expectations, Laveos will provide an appropriate solution such as repair, replacement, or refund.

Article 13 – Liability

Laveos is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, or loss resulting from the use of products, to the extent permitted by law.

Liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.

Article 14 – Complaints

Complaints must be submitted as soon as possible and clearly described via info@laveos.com.

We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.

Article 15 – Force majeure

In case of force majeure (including strikes, transport issues, customs delays, or pandemics), Laveos has the right to suspend or terminate deliveries without liability.

Article 16 – Applicable law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.

Article 17 – Changes to terms

Laveos reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most recent version is always available on the website.
